The small business credit system in Israeli is controlled nearly exclusively by the bank monopoly. No credit unions, savings and loans and other lending are permitted to operate, leaving high interest credit cards and the grey market as the only alternatives.

KIEDF provides a guarantee to close the gap of the missing collaterals for each borrower.

Since inception, KIEDF has facilitated over $225 million in financing to over 8,500 small and micro businesses in Israel while creating and supporting more than 45,000 jobs.
